Here are five things you didn’t know about the English Goldendoodle. The first generation of the English Goldendoodle displays what is commonly referred to as “hybrid vigor,” a certain phenomenon in animal breeding where the first cross between two different purebreds comes out healthier and develops better than the actual parents. These hybrids are known to be excellent family dogs – intelligent, friendly, and affectionate. The backcross Goldendoodle, dubbed F1B, is produced by crossing a Poodle with a first generation Goldendoodle. These Goldendoodles tend to be more successful for non shedding traits, and are recommended for homes with allergy prone family members. Goldendoodles come in a wide range of colors, shapes, and sizes.

"Blessed Day Doodles is a family owned, in home breeder of mini and medium Australian Labradoodle Puppies and Goldendoodle Puppies. My husband Kyle, our three children, Isabella, Finnegan and Irelyn, and myself, Tera, live in Harrisonville, Missouri and have been breeding doodles since 2005. In 2010 my parents, Lonnie and Cari joined us in breeding doodles. They are located in Lone Jack, Missouri. Our dogs live with us in our homes, whelp puppies in our dining room and bedroom, go on vacation with us in our 5th wheel camper, go for car rides and visit our grandparents in nursing homes. Our first priority for our dogs is that they are part of our family and receive daily love and attention.
